My patients call me “Dr. Mike”. I was born and raised right here in the “GREAT” town of Clinton! After completing high school, I attended CMSU (now UCM) and State Fair Community College in order to acquire my needed undergraduate courses. Upon completing those courses, I began Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis. Graduating in 1994 and realizing I was NOT a big city kinda guy, I returned home to Clinton to join my father, Dr. Richard Harrison, in practice. About a year later in 1995, I got married to my long time sweetheart, Tonya (Sites) Harrison. Since that time we have adopted two wonderful children - Lydia in 2002 and Phillip in 2005. Then in 2012 God blessed us with another daughter, Audrey. My wife has taught school in the Clinton School District since 1993. We are “Clinton Cardinals” for life! Tonya and I have attended the United Methodist Church of Clinton since we were children. This community has been a very important part of our lives every since we can remember. We are both very active in our community and family life. We love to camp, hunt, fish, shoot and pretty much anything outdoors. We are so fortunate that most all of our friends and family are still living in or around the Clinton area.
Another huge part of my family is you, my patients. I believe that health comes from you, not to you. You were created with the ability to be healthy. Unfortunately we all do things to ourselves everyday to undermine this ability. Health comes from a balance of physical, mental and biochemical factors. Chiropractic care is a very important piece of this wellness puzzle. It is important for people of all ages from infants, adolescents, adults and the elderly to give ourselves that chance. I get adjustments and so does “EVERY” member of my family on a very regular basis no matter how young or young at heart. Our mission at Harrison Chiropractic is to get you feeling better quickly and to keep you that way permanently!
